Your questions

Does this sound familiar?

We’re on the waiting list. We can’t do anything until something opens up.

We would sell, but we don’t know where we would go.

One of us is ready, and the other isn’t.

We love the house, but it’s getting to be a lot.

You don’t have to have it figured out. That’s what the plan is for.

Waiting isn’t the same as doing nothing.

When a residence becomes available, there is often a short window to decide. Getting ready ahead of time can make that decision feel much more manageable.

A plan helps us clarify where you might go next, how to prepare your home, and when a sale could make sense. Every choice stays yours.

Plan now. Decide later. Move on your terms.

About Larry

A local perspective. A personal understanding.

Larry Clarke, real estate advisor serving Hilton Head Island and Bluffton.

For about two decades, I’ve helped Hilton Head Island and Bluffton homeowners with some of the biggest decisions of their lives. I’m a longtime Leamington resident, and I work with Engel & Völkers and The Lowcountry Group.

At 65, I’m thinking about many of the same questions you may be asking about retirement and what comes next. I also recently handled the sale of my mother’s home after her passing. It gave me a personal understanding of how much feeling and practical work goes into a move like this.

My approach is simple. I listen first. We get clear on where you might go next, name what’s in the way, and build a manageable sequence that respects your independence.
